The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center makes a vital difference in the lives of 10,000 young people every year. Our expert staff and wraparound services provide urban adolescents with free physical health, reproductive health and mental health care. At a time of heightened vulnerability to high-risk behaviors and related health problems, we build on the capacities of our patients to become full partners in their health care. The vision is ambitious: help each adolescent grow up happy, healthy, and well educated with hopes and opportunities. Now the largest freestanding provider of outpatient adolescent health services in the United States, the Center helps adolescents access the services they need to make responsible, informed decisions about their health care and their lives.
